And congratulations on starting your self-publishing journey. These times can be confusing, especially for those new to the writing game. Even I feel like I forget some of the steps between each book, and that adds unneeded stress to an already stressful process. So a little while ago, I decided to make a document that would help me remember. But, why keep that document to myself, when I might be able to help other prospective authors on their journeys as well? And that’s how we ended up here. If you are a brand new author, or just curious about how I go about my work, then you are in the right place!

When it comes to self-publishing, there is no shortage of information on the internet. Yet, rarely does it take a step-by-step, start to finish approach.  I have worked to compile everything I could think of when it comes to the self-publishing journey, curated it into a single area, and broken it down into simple, easy to achieve steps. For good measure, I have also provided some resources that I think might find helpful.

All of that said, keep in mind, this is just my process, with my resources, and the skills I have learned or already possessed. It is by no means gospel, and if you would like to change steps, or omit steps altogether, you are more than welcome to. All I wish to do with this page is potentially help other authors on their self-publishing journey.
