This section will focus on tips, tricks, and things to consider when you create the various copies of your book. This includes formatting the inside of your Paperback book, creating the book jacket, getting an ISBN, and much more.
In each module, I will provide a list of potentially helpful resources, and software recommendations (if applicable). These are just suggestions, or what I use, but you can use whatever you feel works best.

If you do not know what ISBNs are, fear not! ISBN stands for International Standard Book Numbers, and every Paperback, and E-Book has an assigned ISBN. These 13-digit codes in short are used to be book identifiers for companies, stores, book catalogues and essentially everything else.
An ISBN is assigned to each separate edition and variation (except reprinting) of a publication. For example, an e-book, a paperback and a hardcover edition of the same book will each have a different ISBN.
ISBNs are not difficult to get either, and you can also get them in batches so you are free to get a bunch if you are planning on writing a series, and then you don’t need to worry about it again.
In Canada, getting an ISBN is rather easy. You must sign up here -Login - ISBN Canada - Library and Archives Canada (collectionscanada.gc.ca), then go to manage logbook on the left-hand side. Click Assign new ISBN, and fill out the following boxes. After that, you will be granted an ISBN for that book.
In Canada ISBNs are free, however in the USA, I believe they are not. Please visit this website for ISBNs in the United States. ISBN US (bowker.com)
Note* An ISBN isn't required to publish an E-Book with KDP. Once your content is published on KDP, Amazon will assign it a 10-digit ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number), which is unique to the E-Book and is an identification number for the Kindle E-Book on Amazon.
If you already have an ISBN for your E-Book, you'll be able to enter it during title setup.
